1. Select the record you want to edit by checking the associated box.

 

2. Click the edit button on the right

 

 

The record type will determine the window that appears:

 

A Record

 

1. Type the name in the Name field

Ex: webmail.ties2.net

 

2. Type the IP in the IP Address field

 

3. Click Save & Close

CNAME

 

1. Type in the alias in the Alias field

Ex: googlefffffffffb4c238e

 

2. Type where you want the record to point to in the Canonical Name field

Ex: google.com

 

3. Click Save & Close

Host Record

 

1. Type the name in the Name field

Ex: webmail.ties2.net

 

2. Click the carrot next to the plus, click on Add Address

 

3. Click under the IP Address column to enter the IP for the record

 

4. Click Save & Close

MX Record

 

In most cases the Mail Destination is left blank so the record associates with the domain it's being created in

 

1. Enter the mail server the record points to in the Mail Exchanger field

 

2. Select a Preference (priority) 10-100

 

3. Click Save & Close
